Building a Community on the Foundation of our Members

Over the past four years, the members of the Religion in Society community have amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience, fueled by scholarship and camaraderie, publishing 148 articles in our journal and five books. Building upon this foundation, we are pleased to offer a new and exciting opportunity for continued participation: Community Membership.

Members are granted free one-year access to the journal, may submit an article for peer-review, contribute as an Associate editor, and more. Joining as a member is simple, and for conference participants, membership is included with registration.

For more information on the benefits of membership and how to join, please visit our website.

We hope that you will join us as a member and continue to strengthen the community that your contributions have helped to shape.

Publishing

Submit an Author Impact Statement

As part of our mission to challenge and broaden the ways in which academic knowledge is valued, Common Ground invites those who have previously published in The International Journal of Religion and Spirituality in Society to submit an author impact statement.

This statement should explain the influence of the work described in the article and/or its significance in your intellectual trajectory. Impact statements should be 200-500 words and may be featured on our website with a link to the article in our online bookstore. Please send us your statement and be sure to include the name of the article discussed in the statement.

New Journal Issue Published

We are pleased to announce the publication of The International Journal of Religion and Spirituality in Society, Volume 3, Issue 2.

Copies of this issue are available in our online bookstore.

Conference

Returning Member Registration Rate

The Alumni Registration Rate has changed names!  We are pleased to still offer our community members who have attended a Religion and Spirituality in Society Conference in the past a reduced rate to attend any future conference of their choice with a Returning Member Registration Rate.  Interested members can now find the Returning Member Registration Rate and all its benefits on the registration page of the conference website.
