Common Ground Publishing Ranked 15th on List of World’s Top-Ranked Publishers

Common Ground Publishing is thrilled to announce our ranking on the Library of Social Science’s 2014 list of World’s Top Ranked Publishers. Common Ground ranked as fifteenth out of 37 publishers on the list. According to the Library of Social Sciences, the recipients were selected based on their significance, impact, and capacity to attract influential audiences.

The ranking was determined based on the Library of Social Science’s list of criteria, which takes into consideration the total number of titles a publisher promotes during the course of the year, the number of conferences at which they exhibit their books, and the number of times multiple copies of a title were included in the exhibit to support an author event.

Common Ground Publishing has issued 77 English-language journals, 13 Spanish-language journals, and a backlist of 20,000 articles and more than 200 books. All of this content is available in both print and digital formats. In addition, Common Ground hosts 24 international interdisciplinary academic conferences each year in correlation with the knowledge communities.

Submit Your Book Proposal

Common Ground Publishing is setting new standards of rigorous academic knowledge creation and scholarly publication. Unlike other publishers, we’re not interested in the size of potential markets or competition from other books. We’re only interested in the intellectual quality of the work. If a book is a brilliant contribution to a specialist area of knowledge that only serves a small intellectual community, we still want to publish it. If it is expansive and has a broad appeal, we want to publish it too, but only if it is of the highest intellectual quality.

For more information on submitting a book proposal, please visit our website.
