As part of our mission to challenge and broaden the ways in which academic knowledge is valued, Common Ground invites those who have previously published in The International Journal of Religion and Spirituality in Society to submit an author impact statement.
This statement should explain the influence of the work described in the article and/or its significance in your intellectual trajectory. Impact statements should be 200-500 words and may be featured on our website with a link to the article in our online bookstore. Please send us your statement and be sure to include the name of the article discussed in the statement. Conference Join Delegates at the Conference Dinner Join your fellow delegates for an evening of conversation and a delicious French-inspired 3 course dinner at Le Bateau Ivre Restaurant, Cafe and Coffeehouse, a Berkeley landmark. Located seven blocks south of the conference venue, University of California, Berkeley, at the corner of Telegraph and Carleton.
Established in 1972, Le Bateau Ivre was originally a residence built in 1898 by a French architect. Enjoy the warm and comfortable ambiance of a French home and good conversation at a time when many of our speakers are able to come together for more intimate conversations over great food and wine.
