Publishing

Common Ground Journals Now Offering Open Access Publication Option

Common Ground Publishing is pleased to announce that all of its journals are now hybrid open access publications. The hybrid open access model offers authors the choice to pay a small fee to have their article made freely available for viewing and downloading by anyone immediately upon publication. This model also grants readers broad reuse rights to encourage the widespread republication and distribution of open access articles.

All Common Ground journal articles will still be available via personal and institutional subscriptions, which grant access to entire journal issues. However, authors may choose the open access option to fulfill a research funding requirement, more widely disseminate their research, increase citations of their work, or because they want to ensure that non-subscribers can access their article for free.

To learn more about hybrid open access and the process of making your current submission or previously published article open access, please click here

Editing and Chicago Manual of Style Conversion Services

Common Ground offers copyediting services for authors who would like to have their papers edited. We are also pleased to introduce a citation conversion service for authors who would like to have their article’s referencing style converted to the Chicago Manual of Style. For a modest fee, we will bring your article’s references in line with the guidelines established by the Chicago Manual of Style, which is the house style of the journal. Please contact us for more information.
